Step 1: | Select 'Setup->Trigger Setup' and add a toggle or hold style trigger. For more information about the 'Trigger Setup' menu, click here. After you have a trigger set, Guncam is ready to capture, but you probably want to do the next few steps. |
Step 2: | Select 'Setup->Capture Setup' and select the video size and frame rate you want for the video. You can also choose full screen capture, or select the portion of the screen you want to capture. For more information about the 'Capture Setup' menu, click here. |

Select 'Setup->Sound Setup' and turn on 'Record Sound' if you want to capture sound. For more information about the 'Sound Setup' menu, click here. |

Record on overlay: | This option causes Guncam to display a green square on the screen when it is recording. Note that some games run in an exclusive mode that disables this ability. If this option causes you problems, send feedback here. |

This is a new ability that allows guncam to detect when a new frame is displayed. It removes a flicker problem, and allows guncam to only capture new frames. This improves performance when frame rates drop below the capture rate. If this option causes you problems, send feedback here. If this option causes problems with a specific game, please include the game's name in the feedback. |
